The Arctic Triple // Lofoten Ultra-Trail® is a trail run that takes you through the stunning archipelago from Moskenesøy to Austvågøy. The race takes place in week 22 each year and offers spectacular nature with mountain ridges, white beaches, green hills, and gray cliffs, where the sea is always in sight. The finish line is in the beautiful town of Svolvær, surrounded by steep mountains by the harbor. This race is described as one of the most beautiful in the world.

Highlights

  • The extreme distance is 100 miles (166 km) and starts at the innermost part of the spectacular Kjerkfjorden, near Reine in western Lofoten.
  • The course winds its way through large parts of the archipelago, over mountains, ridges, and beaches before finishing at Svolvær Square.
  • The mountains offer a fantastic 360-degree panoramic view of the beautiful mountains and sea of the Lofoten Islands.
